Born and raised in Southern California in a town
called Covina. Being exposed to Hollywood throughout the years, a
passion for motion pictures grew into an obsession. Today I am current
involved in several projects that are cutting edge and soon to be
commonplace. I now reside in Las Vegas, Nevada, one of the fastest
growing places for independent and motion pictures. I was involved in
several movie and video productions along with reality TV where my
interests continued to grow. My vision continues to draw me into
directing, producing and community involvement.

Born and raised in Northern New York in the small
town of Star Lake about 60 miles from Lake Placid. My father was a
professional photographer specializing in weddings and portrait work. At
age 8, I was taking my own photos with a brownie box camera. When I was
13, my father requested my assistance one weekend taking pictures at a
second wedding that he had scheduled on the same day. This was the start
of my professional career in photography. Entering the United States Air
Force in February 1972, I served our country for 24 years as a Medical
Laboratory Technician and First Sergeant. Attending several colleges
over a 10 year period, I finally obtained an Associate Degree in
Computer Science majoring in programming. Retiring from military service
in 1996, I took up a job making roadside billboards. A few years later,
I became a graphic editor of a magazine for a sports handicapper where I
honed my skills by creating ads for the USA Today and the Toronto Sun
Newspaper in Canada. After 5 years, I was hired by Sam's Club working my
way up to the Photo Department Manager. Today my passion is in astronomy
and photography.

I always wanted a way to creatively express myself
but had no idea how to accomplish this until I stumbled upon
photography. Looking for an easy "A" in school, I took a photography
class where I soon found my first love, my camera. It was here I learned
that everything in this world had some type of story and beauty of its
own and since everybody could not be there, I would be their eyes and
recant the endless stories I would discover. I finally found a way to
tell everyone all the wonders I have seen without every whispering a
word.

In Memory
of
Roberto
Salazar
20
November 1940 - 17 December 2010
During a lifetime you meet many people.
Few become coworkers and enlighten your days on the job. Even fewer
become your friends and enhance your daily life. Robert was on of the
few that became a coworker and blessed us as a true friend. The short
period we knew him brought us great pleasure and a friend we could count
on for a great time and laughs that would make for a relaxing day. God
bless you Robert. May he take you in his care as we no longer are by
your side. We certainly miss you.
Go in peace as we will meet again! |
